Enticingly bittersweet, this refreshing classic cocktail is experiencing a revival worldwide. Negroni, an iconic Italian cocktail, has always been associated to Italian style and la bella vita. It was first created in 1919 for Count Camillo Negroni who in a caffé in Florence demanded the soda was swapped for gin in his Americano in honour of his last trip to London and so the classic aromatic Negroni was born.
At Palazzo Tronconi winery restaurant, Valentina Mobbasta our Cocktail waitress recreated this famous cocktail using our own biodynamic vermouth, ‘Augusto’ and added a sprig of rosemary to enhance the ‘bittersweet’ flavour.
